Pressure sensor for measuring intraocular pressure that can be worn on the eye.

A pressure sensor that can be worn on the eye of the user for measuring the intraocular pressure of the user. The pressure sensor may take the form of a strain gauge 24 which has a resistance element. The pressure measuring device may also be incorporated into a corneal contact lens, the contact lens may have a cavity which can hold or store medication for intraocular pressure. The contact lens may also have an outlet for the medication so it can be administered to the eye. The pressure sensor may also have a transceiver which can communicate with a second transceiver, using a magnetic field; the second transceiver may be able to send information to a data recording device.
