Locomotive Brake

The invention pertains mechanical engineering, particularly to locomotive brakes with three pipe mains connected to each brake valve installed in control cabins of sections. At the same time in some types of the locomotives at each of three mains the disconnection valve is installed. In the greater part of the locomotives a group switch is set up, where three valves of it are installed on each of three mains. In the working control cabins all three valves are open, but in non-working cabins all three valves are closed. Thus the locomotive brake in the non-working cabin is switched off and can not be used. In order to overcome this shortcoming, in conformity with invention the main of auxiliary brake 7 at the outlet of each section of the locomotive is bifurcated, where one branch contains the standard switching valve, but the other branch contains the blocking valve, connected with the brake main so, that the opening and closing occurs when air pressure in the brake main is 2,0 +- 0,2 kgf/cm2. Connecting hoses connect the switching valve of one section with the blocking valve of another section and vice versa. Pressure main of each valve of locomotive brake is connected to the compressor through the reflux valve. When the braking occurs from the cabin A, the valve of locomotive brake delivers the compressed air to the main 7, where via the switching valve 3 the compressed air fills brake cylinders of the section and via a blocking valve 4 and through the hose 6 it comes to switching valve 3 of section B from the valve of locomotive brake in cabin A. Then braking cylinders 9 of the section B are filled with the compressed air through the valve of the section B. During the braking of the locomotive with an auxiliary braking valve from the section B the ways of the compressed air are similar.
