Gas Condensing Unit

The invention pertains to thermal engineering, which proposes solutions for flue gas cooling and cleaning after woody fuel use in boilers. Its goal is increase of energy efficiency of heat energy production systems by improvement of heat and mass transfer conditions in gas condensing unit. Increase of contact surface and zoning of liquid, vapour, hard particle and gas flows allow to reach improvement of heat and mass transfer conditions. Gas flows through sprayed liquid curtain before inlet of gas condensing unit. Gas and vapour mixture is cooled by sprayed liquid which forms drops and sometimes films of liquid and condensate on the contact surface of packed (filling) layer. Second packed layer allows reaching more intensive condensing process, because temperature of sprayed liquid in the third spraying liquid system is lower than temperature of mixture of liquid and condensate in packed layer. Third packed layer in outlet of gas flow plays role of separator of drops from gas flow. Liquid and condensate together with hard particles come down to conical collector in bottom of gas condensing unit. Sedimentation of hard particles in bottom allows decreasing liquid losses in outlet of pulp. Rest of liquid and condensate from collector are reused in sprayed system of gas condensing system. Gas condensing unit allows reaching higher level of gas flow from hard particles because of contact of liquid drops and film which allows more effective catching of small and micro particles including particles PM2,5.
