Purification System for Treating Waste Water and Tray Used By Said System

Purification system for treating waste water, characterized in that the waste water from a sedimentation tank is conveyed to a tray in which, in a first filtration step, the stream of water passes through a first plurality of chambers arranged linearly, said stream of water flowing along a substantially linear, alternating upward and downward path between adjacent chambers, each of the chambers having a layer of gravel at the bottom, and in a second filtration step the stream of water passes through a second plurality of chambers that are interconnected and arranged in parallel. Thus, the stream of water flows along a zigzag path to the tray outlet, the chambers of the second filtration step having a layer of gravel and plants.
