Manufacturing composite materials from nano-composites

The method for producing a composite material, which has nanocomposite based on polymer, comprises feeding a starting mixture that is made of polymer and nanoscopic filler material to a calender, so that the starting mixture is calendered by the calender and an intermediate product is obtained with a polymer matrix with the nanoscopic filler material homogeneously distributed in it, processing the intermediate product to a composite material under using a casting process of solutions, under using a shaping process, under using an extrusion process and/or under using a spinning process. A starting mixture dissolved in a liquid or a dry starting mixture is used as starting mixture, where the starting mixture is subjected with ultrasound before feeding to the calender. The starting mixture is provided as educt by mixing polymer dissolved in a polymer solvent and filler material dissolved in a filler solvent, where the mixing process takes place by stirring and/or by applying ultrasound. The starting mixture is provided in a solvent by mixing polymer and filler material. The starting mixture is provided as dry starting mixture by mixing solid polymer and solid filler material. The mixing process takes place under the use of a milling device. A polar solvent, a non-polar solvent and/or a solvent system in the form of strong acids are used as polymer solvent, filler solvent and/or solvent. The starting mixture is provided at a temperature of 20-150[deg] C. The concentration of the filler material in the starting mixture, the concentration of the filler solvent or the concentration of the filler material in the solvent is 0-20 wt.% or 0.0001-15 wt.%. The calendering treatment is carried out at 20-350[deg] C and/or the calendering treatment is carried out in a time frame of 5 seconds to 30 minutes. After the feeding step, the intermediate product is dissolved in a solvent before its further processing. The new dissolution of the intermediate product takes place at 20-150[deg] C and/or the intermediate product is dissolved in the solvent for carrying out the spinning process. The starting mixture additionally contains processing aids, cross-linking agent, plasticizers, blowing agents, lubricants, surface-active substances, consistency-improver, dyes, pigments, mica, flame retardant material, stabilizers and/or adhesive mediator.
