Extracorporeal Organ Conservation

The invention relates to an arrangement for extracorporeal organ conservation. Said type of arrangements are used to artificially preserve or to regenerate vital functions of organs, said organs also having extremities and tissue lobes. The inventive arrangement for extracorporeal organ conservation is made of at least one organ perfusion chamber (1) provided with an adjustable temperature device (3). An organ (2) is arranged in said organ perfusion chamber (1), said organ being surrounded by a protective covering (21). Said type of protected organ (2) is stored in a totally suspended manner in a bearing liquid (4). According to the invention, the bearing liquid (4) is a dialysate which is a component of a life-conserving circuit (5).
