Arrangement for determination of intraorbital pressure, designed in shape of goggles joined to appropriate devices

When the intraocular pressure rises there is only a minimal. backwards motion possible for the socket to give way, which is not sufficient to solve the problem. A chamber with a hermetically closed expansion space at the front is connected with tubes fitted with valves (UV) to a compressor (KP), an outlet (AL), and a pressure sensor (DS). The chamber can be designed in the shape of diving goggles and joined to the head of the patient (PT) with an elastic band. The obtained data are transmitted to a processing and evaluating unit (DL, PC).
