Fuel cell system for use in electrical or electronic device e.g. computer, has fuel double cell with cathode-sided devices, cathodes, anodes and proton exchange membranes, where cathodes are connected

The system (1) has a fuel double cell (2) comprising two cathode-sided devices (3), two cathodes, two anodes and two proton exchange membranes. The cathode-sided devices are provided for supplying current and for cathode-sided gas diffusion, where the cathodes are connected with oxygen-containing gas layers through the cathode-sided devices. A tubular reformer unit (6) has a container in inner side for accommodating the fuel (7, 8), and an opening for discharging the fuel is provided in an area of anode-sided devices.
