The shaft power house (1) comprises a vertical shaft (7), where a shaft crown (10) forms a bottom parallel inlet plane (11). The bottom parallel inlet plane extends below a water level (3) of top water (2). The shaft is open at the top, and is closed with a base (9) at a lower end. A turbine (16) is completely arranged under the water in the shaft. An independent claim is also included for a shaft power module for electricity generation by energy conversion of an overflow between top water and bottom water.
