Method for Determining Centers of Mass for Large Structures
The invention relates to a method and a hoisting device for determining centers of mass and mass for large structures. According to the method, a hoisting device is used which has at least two different suspension devices, wherein the suspension devices each comprise a cable element and a suspension point for connection to the object to be measured. The method comprises the following steps: a) suspension of the object (2) by at least two different object points which are connected to at least two suspension points (5, 5', 5'') of the hoisting device (1); b) orientation of the object (2) in at least two different spatial positions; c) measurement of the orientation of the object (2) for each spatial position; d) measurement of the forces exerted on the suspension devices (3, 3', 3'') by the suspended object (2) for each spatial position; e) determination of the center of area of the object and associated effective force axes (2) for each spatial position; f) determination of the spatial center of mass (20) by overlapping at least two effective force axes.
