SCMD Transit Mixer for Production & Transportation of Concrete

The SCMD transit mixers are Truck-mounted mobile batching & mixing plants which can also be used like transit mixers. Conventionally two different equipment are used for production and transportation of concrete. A concrete plant is used for production of concrete and a transit mixer is used for transportation. This invention can do both the activities of production as well as transportation of concrete. It therefore eliminates the stationary batching plant & conventional transit mixers. Further this invention is also provided with its own power and it also eliminates the High power diesel generator set which is required to run a batching plant. this invention has a unique but very simple construction and even a lay man can also operate it. It gives freedom to produce concrete anywhere and anytime. It reduces the cost of production & transportation of concrete by more than 50 to 55% as it eliminates a no. of bulky equipment.

The invention is provided with a simple mechanical drive and does not require a hydrostatic drive unlike the conventional transit mixer,ensuring close to 90% mechanical efficiency. Further it brings a huge flexibility to the end user as a no. of SCMD transit mixers can be loaded and sent by a small tractor-loader or a JCB and no batch-mix plant is required. It is provided with an electronic weighing system and a control panel to produce various grades of concrete along with a ticket printer. We are willing to go for licensing/ assignment in various countries other than INDIA as we want to keep the INDIAN DOMESTIC Market with us. Further the technology can be used to convert a normal transit mixer into a mobile batching plant cum transit mixer which has huge business potential. This invention supersedes our previous inventions also published by WIPO however has a potential to break into a no. of products for which a no. of patents of additions have been filed, which include a self loading SCMD transit mixer.

At the same time, a huge opportunity is also there in stationary plants having capacities more than 100 cubic meter per hour involving the SCMD technology, which reduces the size of the equipment, power required and eliminates belt conveyors OR skip buckets and present a complete batch-mix plant made fabricated out of steel without any belt conveyors or skip buckets.
