Glass Partition for Linear Enclosures in Building Interiors (Offices)

The buyer/licensee of this patent will get in addition to the technical information filed with the Spanish patent office, the necessary industrial know-how to industrialise it. It comprises all AutoCad drawings for each component and all sets / subsets shown in the technical commercial catalogues, all extrusion dies ready to resume production at the extruded Aluminium supplier plant, material masters with suppliers and sourcing prices, samples of all Aluminium profiles and commercial items, and an application for preparing commercial quotes, orders and lists of materials.

This opportunity is not about a patent but about all the Know-How required to resume production in very few weeks.

Over recent years, top of the range dividing walls, to which this product belongs, have evolved towards continuous transparent glass walls, with the opaque kind being reserved for filing areas and warehouses, etc.

The product/system is made up of a range of profiles and accessories that can be combined in different ways to enable the quick and simple construction of any type of dividing wall, always with unbeatable functionality. For example: few dividing walls can boast a minimalist, electrifiable vertical support for hinged door frames of all types.

The most outstanding novelty offered by this product is the integration of the sliding glass door into the system itself, with all the accessories that this requires. Both vertical supports for hinged doors and supports for sliding doors can be located at any point along the dividing wall, since the upper and lower supports are anchor points (in the case of hinged doors) or roller guides (in the case of sliding doors).

With 25 aluminium profiles, some accessories, glazing beads and rubber or neoprene joints, the systems is designed to cover four different types of screens: two with hidden horizontal profiles and the option of using one (single glazed) or two panes (double glazed), and two with external profiles allowing either one or two panes. All four types of screen are fully interrelated.

Another major advantage of this dividing wall is the assembly of the glass panes themselves. Thanks to the fact that they are set into aluminium profiles capable of covering height differences of up to 25 mm, and have side covers which enable panes to be inserted from the front, the dividing walls can easily adapt to any measurement and are extremely simple to level.

This design eliminates the need for many joints between panes, thus improving soundproofing and ensuring an aesthetically-pleasing finish. During the final assembly phase for the glass panes, an irreversible side cover is added which seals the whole system.
