Catheter for endovascular intervention

A University at Buffalo radiologist has developed novel stent vascular devices for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms. The nature of these neurovascular stents and other devices like them make deployment a real challenge. In addition to the stents , a truly novel and revolutionary deployment device has been designed to overcome this deployment challenge. The device allows for precise longitudinal and azimuthal positioning. Further, the design enables easy navigation of the tortuous vessels o f the cerebrovasculature, making it the ideal device for such applications.
