Creation of cell lines in which the SMAD4 genes have been disrupted by targeted homologous interation. Description (Set) Proposed Use (Set) Isogenic cell lines with or without intact SMAD4 genes are valuable reagents for studying the cellular effects of TGF-b family members and for discovering drugs that may modulate this pathway.
