74.1, Vertebrate Cytoplasmic Dynein

This monoclonal antibody is for one of the polypeptides of vertebrate cytoplasmic dynein. This antibody is an IgG and is therefore more useful than IgM; it is also prepared with mammal (cow) antigen, not chicken. This clone is useful for western immunoblots, immunocytochemistry and immunoprecipitation. The MAb has affinity for eleven of the isoforms of the 74kD polypeptide of purified bovine brain cytoplasmic dynein resolved by two dimensional gel electrophoresis, and cross-reacts with cytoplasmic dynein from various tissues of a number of other vertebrates, including fish, mouse, and sheep.
