Piezoelectric and Pyroelectric Polymeric Materials ()

Abstract:
Thermally stable piezoelectric and pyroelectric polymeric substrates retain their orientation, piezoelectric, and pyroelectric properties at temperatures above 100oC up to the softening temperature of the polymer. These substrates have an advantage over piezoelectric inorganic materials because they are easily processable and conformable to a variety of shapes.
