PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten trioxide type photocatalytic material which exhibits a high oxidative decomposition activity by irradiation with visible rays. ; SOLUTION: The photocatalytic material is comprised of having a bivalent salt of copper carried on the surface of tungsten trioxide fine particles.
