The method involves signalizing transition of a mobile electronic device (1) from one operating mode to another operating mode by change of center of mass, where the change of center of mass takes place by changing a position of a movable mass (2). The movable mass is arranged in the mobile electronic device. A closed volume region of the mobile electronic device is filled with air and gas or liquid for realizing the center of mass. Vacuum is generated for change of the center of mass in the closed volume region. An independent claim is also included for a mobile electronic device with a variable position adjusting element.
