The embodiments of the invention provide an address reporting method and apparatus, a connection establishing method and apparatus, and a communication system. The address reporting method includes: obtaining the network address and static information; registering the network address and static information with a dynamic domain name system server; constructing a first connection request address including the static information; reporting the first connection request address to the auto-configuration server. Using the technical schemes provided by the embodiments of the invention, the connection request address is no needed to be carried every time when the customer premises equipment communicates with the auto-configuration server, the processing load of the customer premises equipment may be reduced, and then the processing efficiency of the customer premises equipment is improved.
