Test substances can be screened to assess their suitability for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis. Methyl 3-({[2-(methoxy)-4-phenyl]amino}sulfonyl)-2-thiophenecarboxylate can be administered topically for the prevention or treatment of psoriasis.
