PepsiCo is seeking novel technologies using chemical or enzymatic modifications to either improve productivity in food processing (e.g., decrease frying time or temperature, provide enzymatic peeling) or to provide new food experiences. The latter could include technology to provide new textures (e.g. crunchier, harder potato chips) or enable changes in sensory impressions (e.g., changes in flavor or temperature when the product is chewed).

In scope:
  • Technologies of interest will provide productivity improvements or novel products or product ideas.

Out of scope:
  • Resistant starches
