An accepted lead is a lead that the client decides to follow up on.

A client is interested in zwitterionic polymers that have been demonstrated to be safe for human use. Specifically, they are targeting polymers that contain positive and negative charges in the same repeat unit (such as a polybetaine), or in equal proportions along the polymer backbone (such as a polypeptide containing alternating glutamine and lysine units). The polymer can be any molecular weight and can contain comonomers, as long as it remains water soluble. The current uses of the polymer can include any application, as long as it has a known safety profile that is acceptable for human use products.

The client is also interested in polymers (not solely zwitterionic) safe for human use with demonstrated efficacy for reducing protein or bacterial adhesion. The polymer can be any molecular weight and can contain comonomers, as long as it remains water soluble and highly anti-fouling. The polymer must have a known safety profile that is acceptable for human use products.

The Client is also interested in leads for collaboration and/or co-development of the technology.
