Award: All-expense paid trip to Abu Dhabi as Masdar’s VIP blogger

This year’s blogging contest explores the important contributions cities can make toward sustainable development. The winning entry will clearly map out the connection between smart cities and sustainable development. Entries should include recommended actions for how cities can accommodate far more people, while using fewer resources. A judging panel will review qualifying entries, judging is based on following criteria:

-Over-all quality of the post
-Number of votes for the post on Masdar's website
-Demonstrate creativity and innovation
-The number of social media "likes", "shares", and "tweets"

The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to Abu Dhabi during mid-January 2014 as Masdar's VIP Blogger and receive a modest stipend.
