Varable Displacement Compressor for Car Air Conditioning. Regeneraive Braking of Bicycle and Cycle Rickshaw. Improved Wood Stov Inventing new things is the passion to all innovators. I am one of them. Trying to invent something mostly failed but few innovations ultimately come out with excellent result. These successful innovations make a common man into an innovator.

I am interested on innovations as I enjoy it. Successful innovation also bring recognition to an innovator.

Last year I won a national level award, prize money and a GOLD MEDAL. I realised, a gold medal can really excite a man.

1. Variable Displacement Compressor for Car Air Conditioning: My best innovation is a newly designed light duty variable displacement compressor suitable for car air conditioning. My compressor for small car air conditioning. The innovation was awarded first prize in India Innovation Initiative - National Innovation Fair 2009. The innovation has been also financially supported by DSIR, Govt. of India. Patent is pending for this innovation in India. Newly developed compressor is less complicated than other compressors of this category and cheap as well.

2. Regenerative Brake System for Bicycle and Cycle Rickshaw: In a bicycle and cycle rickshaw, great amount of energy is lost when braking. A new design of regenerative brake system is proposed here in which kinetic energy of the bicycle / cycle rickshaw is captured during braking and this stored energy is released either just after braking or later as desired by the rider to move the bicycle forward. The proposed mechanism is more compact with minimum essential components and more convenient than other designs which are the originality of this innovation. Patent is pending.

3. Improved Wood Stove: Thermal efficiency of the newly designed wood stove is higher than other existing metallic wood burning rural stoves. The new stove will save the rural women from harmful affect due to kitchen pollution. In this stove, Primary air is supplied below the grate. Preheated secondary air stream is mixed with effluent gas just above the grate through an indigenous mixing process to achieve better combustion. A heat shield is provided in the stove to prevent heat loss to the surroundings.

4. Suspended Box Solar Oven: Invented solar oven can be able to follow the sun at right angle almost throughout the day which is especially beneficial in summer for solar cooking as during summer, intensity of solar radiation is still sufficient to solar cook when sun is low in the sky. The oven is provided with one large cooking pot. Patent has been filed.

5. Inclined Box Solar Cooker: The key feature of the new box type cooker is that, it is designed to tilt towards the sun so that direct radiation is perpendicularly accessible to increase solar irradiance on the cooker face. Two foldable mirror reflectors are conveniently attached at both longer sides of the cooker at an angle of 115 degree with cooker face to boost up the energy collection. The new cooker allows the user to cook more meals as the cooker still works when the sun is somewhat low in the sky. The cooker is provided with four cooking pots.
