Alistair Sim's Problem Solving Experience:

1. I was party to creating a distribution and telemetry system for delivering digital content related to health and education to remote areas in Africa.
   We ended up using satellite for the down-link and GPRS for the telemetry.
   Most sites were within at least minimal GPRS reception.
   Some sites were powered by solar and/or wind generators.
2. I am constantly involved in business problem solutions using IT. I have an exceptional ability to accurately extract the client's business need and translating that into precise functional requirements. This ensures a smooth-running project where the client actually gets what s/he wants. A rarity in projects, especially software development.
3. I have several inventions for just plain useful stuff that I have thought of in daily life.
   I constantly have creative ideas and am a good resource to use for brainstorming.
