I have designed a device for measuring distance by the use of visible light. It is a portable device with an electronic screen which immediately registersthe distance covered by the light when it is stopped by a barrier in its path.
I have also designed a portable device which can be used by police officers to check over speeding by highway users
All these are still at the finished design stage but have not yet been manufactured
