Alternative Pistol Attachment Slows A Bullet's Punch

Sep-06-15 The Alternative pistol accessory attaches to the front of a gun to slow down the first bullet fired, offering police and security personal a less dangerous first response.

Developed by Alternative Ballistics with law enforcement personnel in mind, the bright orange Alternative is meant to be attached quickly, on the spot. It can be secured on the pistol with one hand, where it will channel the next bullet fired and force it to fuse with a steel ball contained in the device. This fusing slows the bullet while also enlarging it, rendering it less likely to pierce organs or cause other fatal wounds.

The Alternative is single use, and pops off the gun after the bullet is fired, allowing the rest of the bullets to be fired with normal force.
