Backpacker Repeller Repels Mosquitoes in the Wild

Backpacker Repeller Repels Mosquitoes in the Wild
Jul-23-16
The portable Backpacker Repeller from Thermacell keeps mosquitoes at bay even while deep in the wilderness.

The Backpacker Repeller builds on the same technology as Thermacell’s larger repellant lanterns, but has been scaled down so it can be carried in a backpack. The system includes a heat-activated repeller pad soaked in allethrin that will repel mosquitos within a fifteen-foot radius. In order to make the device more compact, the Backpacker Repellent is powered by the same type of camping gas canister normally carried on backpacking trips, rather than the butane cartridge used in the larger versions.
