The Bagel allows the user to choose the measuring mode that best suits the project. String mode includes a retractable string that can be wrapped around items or laid straight, while Wheel mode can be used one-handed by simply rolling the Bagel along the surface. The Bagel also includes a Remote mode that uses ultrasound and a laser pointer to measure distances that are hard to reach. The results of all the modes are displayed on the device’s OLED screen, and the data can be stored in the Bagel’s onboard memory, along with voice notes, or send to a paired smartphone.
