Box3D Encloses 3D-Printers to Funnel Fumes and Muffle Sound

Box3D Encloses 3D-Printers to Funnel Fumes and Muffle Sound
Feb-26-18
The box3D invention wraps around a 3D printer to control the climate, reduce noise and extract the toxic fumes.

As home 3D printers become more popular, their safety issues also become more obvious—in particular their noise and fumes. To make these desktop printers a bit more home friendly, the box3D enclosure kit wraps around the printer to muffle noise while the included fan and HEPA filter carry fumes and particles through an air hose and away from the user. In addition to creating a more comfortable workspace for the user, the box3D also helps reduce damage to the printer itself by enclosing it within a stable environment.
