An invention from a young boy in Texas could help prevent the deaths of children left in hot cars.
The device, called Oasis, was created by eleven-year-old Bishop Curry as a way to detect a child forgotten inside a hot car and call for help. The prototype design features a cooling fan that faces the child’s car seat, switching on automatically when the interior temperature reaches a certain level. The system also includes WiFi, which can notify the parents as well as the authorities that the child is in danger.
