Corning SR+ Gorilla Glass Made for Wearables

Aug-31-16 Corning has unveiled their SR+ Gorilla Glass, which could be used to protect smartwatches from daily wear and tear.

According to the team, the SR+ Gorilla Glass has been designed specifically for wearables, and is made up of a new composite able to resist scratches while also retaining optical clarity and touch sensitivity. The new glass should be better able to resist the day-to-day bumps and scrapes smartwatches will be subjected to, while also offering better outdoor readability.
