DaSail SUP Paddes Hides a Pop-Out Sail

Aug-30-14 The DaSail SUP paddle lets stand up paddleboarders hitch a ride on the wind with its hidden, pop-out sail.

Made of lightweight, professional-grade carbon fiber and weighing just a bit more than the normal SUP paddle, the DaSail can be set up or stowed in just seconds. The paddle's hollow handle holds the sail, which is deployed by pulling up on the handle tip and then connecting the downhaul loop of the sail to the downhaul ring on the paddle. According to the developers, the sail can be used for simple downwind sailing as well as for more advanced maneuvers such as tacking upwind or performing tricks.
