Nov-26-17 The EasyScan GO AI-powered parasite counter from Motic can count malaria parasites in a blood sample in less than an hour.

According to the developers, being able to identify the number of parasites present in a blood sample makes it easier to determine the optimum amount of medication. The EasyScan combines machine learning with digital slide scanning to count the parasites in about twenty minutes, allowing the physician to quantify the level of infection.
