Flow Frames Put Honey On Tap to Reduce Bee Stress

Flow Frames Put Honey On Tap to Reduce Bee Stress
Feb-20-15
The Flow frames could revolutionize bee-keeping by channeling the honey directly from the hive and into a jar without disturbing the bees.

Created by a father-and-son team, the Flow frame system consists of Flow Frames made up of incomplete honeycomb cells. After the bees have filled the combs with their honey and capped them, the device can be turned "a bit like a tap" to split the cells and allow the honey to flow down a trough and out of the hive for collection.
This method of collection not only reduces human labor, it also helps protect the bees by reducing disturbance and exposure to disease.

Hi. Thanks
I enjoyed your invention so much. It was really "very interesting for me. I'm asking if you could build an example at home. I live in a village in Iran. I will be very pleased if you help me build it in my home. Many thanks. I am waiting for your answer.
