FreshRealm Delivers Fresh Food to Your Door

Jun-20-15 The startup FreshRealm plans to make healthy eating easier by delivering fresh produce directly to the consumer.

The core of the FreshRealm idea revolves around the patent-pending Vessel, a refrigerated, reusable container that relies on ice packs and insulation to keep food at 40°F or colder for up to 40 hours, without electricity or chemicals. The Vessel is equipped with sliding drawer compartments that contain the portioned ingredients, and it can accommodate up to ten dinner servings of five different dishes. Once the Vessel has been unpacked, it can be returned for free and put back in circulation.

The FreshRealm team hopes the Vessel technology will allow growers and suppliers a more direct line to the consumers, offering an alternative to grocery stores and a way to cut down on food waste.
