Gita Robot Personal Cargo Carrier

Oct-16-19 The Gita ‘follow me’ robot from Piaggio Fast Forward will follow its owner while carrying up to 40 pounds of cargo.

The Gita courier robot is an evolution of the team’s 2017 version, with some adjustments for the consumer market. The fifty-pound wheeled bot was designed “to move like humans move,” and will follow its owner with the help of visual sensors at speeds up to six miles an hour. The Gita can travel on hard surfaces and inclines up to 16%, carrying up to forty pounds of cargo to allow for hands-free exploration.
