ICEDot Bike Helmet Sensor Calls for Help When You Can't

ICEDot Bike Helmet Sensor Calls for Help When You Can't
Sep-26-14
Designed to work with existing bike helmets, the ICEdot Sensor will detect a fall and will notify emergency contacts automatically if the impact is great enough to cause significant injury.

Created by the In Case of Emergency (ICE) group, the ICEdot is equipped with a motion sensor and Bluetooth 4.0, which allows it to pair with a smartphone. When the sensor detects an impact that could cause a person lose consciousness, the device will begin a countdown to alert-activation. If the person does not interrupt the countdown within the designated time frame, the app will begin notifying everyone on the user's emergency contact list.
