The Life Sticker from Semcon warns of approaching cyclists to help prevent collisions with car doors.
One of the hazards of biking a busy roadway is the risk of running into a car door that opens unexpectedly in the path. To help address that problem, the Life Sticker from Semcon attaches to the door of any car, where it senses approaching cyclists via Bluetooth and the cyclist’s ubiquitous smartphone. If a bike is nearing the car, a red light on the device will flash to warn the motorist not to open their door.
