LumiWave Treats Pain with Light

Sep-05-17 The LumiWave wearable from BioCare helps alleviate muscle and joint pain through wearable LED infrared pods.

The LumiWave was designed to treat localized pain, particularly in muscles, tendons and ligaments, using light therapy. Each pod on the unit is equipped with 49 LEDs, which will reach temperatures as high as 107.6°F while also emitting infrared that penetrates the tissue, triggering the release of nitric oxide to help repair damage while also soothing with heat.
