New Wisp PAP Mask Provides Better Nasal Therapy

New Wisp PAP Mask Provides Better Nasal Therapy
Jun-30-13
Philips Respironics has designed a nasal PAP mask that can better fit most adults and can improve nasal therapy.

People with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who are prescribed positive airway pressure (PAP) machines often stop using them because the masks that are strapped to the face can be quite uncomfortable. Moreover, if the right size is not picked and the mask fit on the individual patient just right, the therapy may be less than fully effective.

Wisp combines the performance and comfort of a nasal mask with the aesthetic of a pillows mask to deliver best in class performance in four areas: comfort, ease of use, visual appeal, and the ability to fit a wide range of patients. Compact and lightweight, Wisp offers a minimal contact experience, a superior seal and an open field of vision.
