NuDown Jackets Inflate for Customized Warmth

The inflatable NuTech jackets from NuDown are insulated by air, allowing the wearer to customize the amount of insulation for the conditions outside.The NuDown jackets feature an airtight layer in the body-core area that can be inflated using the accompanying hand pump. According to the developers, 20 pumps will inflate the jacket enough for a "slightly chilly day," while 40 pumps will offer protection from more severe cold. The jackets can also be inflated with argon, which requires a special canister but also offers more insulation than regular air.
