Nura Headphones Offer Personalized Sound

May-21-16 The combination in-ear and over-the-ear Nura headphones measure the wearer’s personal frequency sensitivity to offer an optimized music experience.

The Nura headphones are equipped with a microphone able to detect a sound as it enters and returns from the ear, allowing the device to determine the inner ear’s response to sound via an adaptation of OAE (otoacoustic emission) testing. The process takes about thirty seconds, with no interaction required by the wearer. Besides offering better sound quality, the headphones also help protect the user from high volumes.
