SENSUS Won't Let Pain Reach Your Brain

Aug-11-12 The SENSUS, which was recently cleared by the FDA, was designed to help people suffering from diabetes manage their chronic pain by keeping pain signals from reaching the brain.

Developed by NeuroMetrix, the SENSUS attaches to the upper part of the patient's calf, where it uses proprietary algorithms to create an electric current able to disrupt or modulate pain signals, keeping them from reaching the brain.
