The SleepSense device from Samsung slips under the mattress to monitor the user’s sleep patterns and offer helpful suggestions.
Developed in part to help further the “smart home,” the SleepSense is equipped with sensors that track the sleeper’s movements during the night, offering a 97 percent accurate reading of sleep patterns. That data is analyzed and used to generate sleep reports that are sent via Bluetooth to a paired device.
Beyond its sleep-tracking powers, however, the SleepSense can also sync with other Samsung smart appliances, turning off the TV when you fall asleep or even recognizing the connection between late night snacking (from the smart fridge) and a restless night of sleep.
