Smartslab Table Cooks and Serves on a Single Surface

Jun-20-16 The Smartslab table can cook food, keep it warm, and chill beverages—all on a single slab.

Developed by Kram/Weisshaar, the Smartslab table is made up of SapienStone, a newly created ceramic tile, laid on top of induction heating rings and warming elements, allowing diners to cook their food and keep it warm right at the table. Cooling units also built into the table, to keep beverages cool.

According to the design team, the temperatures of the warming and cooling elements were carefully chosen, and the table is safe and easy to use.
