Spello Lets Kids Practice Spelling by Stomping

Spello Lets Kids Practice Spelling by Stomping
Jan-26-15
The Spello concept would make spelling lessons more fun for the younger set by letting kids spell words and learn sounds by stomping on the correct letters.

Currently an idea proposed to the Quirky site, the Spello system would consist of a durable mat divided into different letter areas with individual sensors. When the child stomps on a letter—in response to a spelling or letter sound challenge—the system registers and keeps track of correct answers.

While encouraging literacy, the Spello also helps kids develop balance and other motor skills.
