Spinpod Creates Seamless Smartphone Panoramas

Spinpod Creates Seamless Smartphone Panoramas
Jun-12-13
Take your smartphone for a twirl on the Spinpod, a motion control unit that makes it easy to create seamless panoramas and motion photography.

Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, the Spinpod is lightweight and portable, weighing in at only 3.3 oz. with a thickness of 0.7. The phone (or small camera) sits up within the base of the device, locking into place vertically, or, with an adapter, horizontally. The Spinpod can be placed on a tripod or any flat surface, where it will spin at a selected rate, and the panoramic mode features programmable delays in order to create a self-portrait. Additionally, two Spinpods can be attached together to shoot pan and tilt time-lapse videos.

Very interested in your device. Would like to hear more about it and was wondering what kind of funding you are looking for?

Hi Fasika,
Right now our only funding is through Kickstarter. We just hit our goal last night ($75k) and have about a week more to go. We would consider a larger investment after our kickstarter project ends. Ideally we would be looking for investors with connections to help market and distribute the Spinpod.
