Sep-25-15 The Stoptix brake light helps prevent rear end collisions by illuminating when it senses the vehicle’s deceleration, without the driver touching the brake.

Offered by Mech Optix, the Stoptix plugs in place of a standard bulb, requiring no modification to the vehicle. Equipped with a deceleration sensor, extremely bright LED light and built-in battery with a five year lifespan, it will automatically detect deceleration and emit a bright red warning light, before the driver ever presses on the brakes.
