SunnySide Window Simulates Sunshine

Jan-04-20 The SunnySide window from Samsung delivers artificial sunlight through a window-shaped device to help offset seasonal affective disorder.

The Samsung SunnySide window spun out of the company’s C-Lab, which encourages employees to explore creating new projects. The window device is enclosed within a small frame that can be hung like a picture, where it will mimic natural light along the full sunlight spectrum. The SunnySide can be used to help stimulate vitamin D production and promote well-being in windowless spaces or during the darker times of the year.

The SunnySide window is just one of the several projects from Samsungs C-Lab that will be on display at CES 2020.
